Hey there guys. Thanks for setting up a WT blog.

I've been training under Si-Fu Stefan Fischer for the last 6 years in Sydney. Some of the highlights have been seminars with GM Leung Ting, Master Schrone, visiting the Castle and the IWTA head quarters August 04.

I notice that you do a bit of MMA in Cambridge. How has that gone? Have you had much success competing?

MMA

The KickStart programme has been developed to train our students minds and bodies to work in harmony with each other. Our long term goal is to se quality of movement and co-ordination increase steadily over time, though a framework of different martial arts which have specific strengths and weaknesses. This framework allows us to build exciting classes in which techniques change, but where students constantly improve their basic skills.

As our classes are aimed more towards the self defence aspect of martial arts as opposed to the sport side, we do not do student competitions.

The 12 WT student grades created by Grandmaster Kernspecht cover all ranges of fighting through implicitly teaching different martial styles. We have taken it one stage further by explicitly teaching these styles to give a greater understanding to the student of each of the different martial arts.
